Check the fridge delivery route before choosing a model
Record openings, turns and the seller’s delivery scope alongside the installation space.

Treat delivery and installation as separate checks
Bosch's fridge-installation page directs buyers to the exact model instructions because dimensions and methods vary. That installation check does not establish that the appliance can be carried through your entrance, stairs or internal doors. Keep the delivery route as a separate part of the purchase record.
Start with the supplier's stated product and packaging dimensions and ask what their delivery service actually includes. Do not assume packaging will be removed at a particular point or that doors can be detached. Any proposed handling method should be confirmed by the responsible service provider rather than improvised from an online photograph.
Record the narrow points and changes of direction
Sketch the route from the agreed delivery point to the intended room. Note door openings, fixed obstacles, steps and tight turns. A width measurement is useful, but a route with several turns cannot be assessed by comparing only the narrowest door with the appliance's front width.
The refrigerator brand close-up makes a practical distinction: it is not a picture from which overall dimensions can be recovered. Use the exact model reference and official dimensions, then give the delivery provider a clear description of the route. If a required measurement is uncertain, mark it as unresolved instead of rounding it in a favourable direction.

Avoid turning a remainder into a guarantee
Assume a door opening measures 76 centimetres and a packaged appliance width is 70 centimetres. The arithmetic difference is 6 centimetres. That does not prove the delivery is feasible, because handling, other dimensions, the approach angle and the provider's requirements still matter.
If another opening is 68 centimetres wide, the same assumed package is 2 centimetres wider than that opening. Record the conflict and ask the provider about the actual options before ordering. These are invented dimensions for a planning example, not a recommended handling clearance or instructions to remove packaging or dismantle the appliance.
Check access after the appliance arrives
Once the route is understood, return to the installation drawing and the space required to use doors and internal drawers. The historical open-fridge photograph shows that the door itself carries storage; the shelf photograph shows internal spaces that need to remain accessible. Neither image is a current installation model or a measurement source.
Keep delivery acceptance separate from approval of the final installation. An appliance being placed in a room does not establish that connections, ventilation or cabinetry are correct. Arrange any necessary qualified installation support and clarify who is responsible for each part of the service.

Price the service you have actually confirmed
For a hypothetical comparison, a £550 appliance with £30 delivery and £25 removal totals £605. A second offer of £575 with those two services included totals £575, making it £30 lower on the stated scope. These invented figures are not current offers and do not include installation unless explicitly stated.
Save the exact model information and written service terms with your route notes. GOV.UK's energy-information guidance also points to the product information sheet, which helps keep the technical identity attached to the purchase. Recheck the plan if the model or delivery service changes; a similar-looking replacement may not have the same dimensions or included services.
